Following the passage of Hurricane Dorian, the Bahamian government passed legislation declaring Abaco an “economic recovery zone” as specified in the Disaster Reconstruction Authority Act, 2019.  This legislation, known as the SERZ Order (Special Economic Recovery Zone Order) provides many incentives designed to help make the process of rebuilding as easy as possible for homeowners.
